Gabion advantage in environment

1. Integrality
  Cells and the diaphragms are the same material and connected each other with lancing wire, lancing wire is also the same material

2.Flexibility
The tensile strength of mesh wire is 350N/M2 and the elongation is over 10%,there is better deformability between every cell. The hole is five twisted hexagonal, even if a piece of wire is broke, it also dosen’t effect the structure

3.Water permeability
after putting the stone or other filler in the gavbions, there is still 30%gap.
After the surface water in to the gabions,it can be also outflew through the gap.

4. Economy
The filler is usually are cobblestone in the river or common rubble from quarry

5.Ecological features
the gabions used in bank slope of river and lake, it will not only keep the natural state of the river or lake, but also promote the exchange of the surface water and underground water. It can also prevent flood, regulate the water level, keep the plan grow and so on

6. Wind resistance, anti-washout
 The surface of gabion engineering is much rougher than the surface of reinforced concrete and stone-laying.
It is two times anti-washout than common riprap engineering
